Care Instructions — This Shirt Deserves Better Than a Hot Wash

Comfort Colors' garment-dyed cotton is the good stuff. A little care goes a long way.

✦ First wash heads up — Garment-dyed tees may bleed a little on their first wash. Separate from light colors and anything you'd miss. You've been told.

✦ Wash inside out — Every time. Non-negotiable. The dog hair situation is your own business.

✦ Cold water, gentle cycle — This is not a shirt that needs a lot of drama. Cold water, gentle detergent, and a little patience.

✦ Skip the extra spin — One spin is plenty. Excessive spinning causes wear you won't notice until you do.

✦ Air dry when you can — Best for the shirt, better for the color, and it gives you something to do while your dog stares at you from across the room. Tumble dry on low if you must — remove promptly.

✦ Iron inside out on low — Your design and high heat have nothing to say to each other. Start low and work slowly.

Treat it well and it'll be in permanent rotation before the end of the month. Your dog has already approved it.

Hi, I’m Kerri—the human behind Snark & Snout and, according to the household org chart, an employee of three dogs.

This shop grew out of our daily negotiations over walks, treats, bed space, coffee refills, and whether the doorbell was truly an emergency.

The honest version? Keeping three dogs in the life of luxury they believe they deserve requires selling a lot of T-shirts. Fortunately, they provide an unreasonable amount of material: suspicious looks, dramatic scheduling demands, stolen bed space, and very strong opinions about strangers.

I turn that material into shirts for women who understand that loving a dog is equal parts comfort, chaos, and being managed by someone who contributes absolutely nothing financially.
